Kayla has a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Psychology, and a passion for research and writing. As a student and psychological research assistant, Kayla’s areas of study and research include mental and physical illnesses, treatment methods for psychiatric conditions, social factors that influence health and illness, online and offline social interactions, personality, and gender differences and racial disparities in health and education. A motivated, self-described lifelong learner, Kayla enjoys opportunities to combine her love of psychology, research, and writing to gain and share knowledge and help others.
Kayla also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, singing, listening to music, reading, watching TV competition shows, comedies, Classic Hollywood films, and historical documentaries, and participating in community and state events.
