Hello! I'm a graduate of Antioch University—Los Angeles’ Masters in Creative Nonfiction program. My writings have appeared in a variety of publications, including Diverse Voices Quarterly, Open Salon, Breathe Repeat, Coffee and Sweatpants, Elephant Journal, Breathe Repeat, Yoga International, Yoga Renew, Cozy by Sweet Starlight, and Westchester Magazine.
With a background in Trauma-Informed Yoga and Ayurveda Counseling, I teach yoga and holistic wellness through the lens of healing. In my classes and counseling sessions, my goal is to empower students and clients to connect with their inner strength, their center, and to find the courage to soften. I'm currently working on a book about how we really Let it go, and a collection of narrative essays depicting the ways a yoga practice can shed light on and shift our habits and experiences.
In my spare time, I love to hike at Bear Mountain, practice yoga outdoors, read my favorite literary journal, The Sun Magazine, cuddle with my fur babies, play Scattergories with my boyfriend, and learn to balance on my niece's new hoverboard.
